Greetings from the University of Michigan and the 2019 Black Graduate Conference in Psychology Planning Committee!
The University of Michigan is hosting the 25th annual National Black Graduate Conference in Psychology from June 6 – 9, 2019. As always, this year's conference will offer an opportunity for graduate students in all fields of psychology to come together to present their ongoing research, gain professional development experiences, and network with other graduate students in a welcoming environment. A host of faculty from across the nation will also participate in the conference and provide critical, but supportive feedback. The conference program will include paper and poster presentations by graduate students, workshops and panel discussions on a variety of career and professional development issues, and opportunities to meet and socialize with Black faculty and graduate students in psychology. As in years past, the conference provides students with a supportive environment of constructive criticism. With that goal in mind, students are encouraged to present "works in progress", not completed projects.
The deadline for conference presentation submissions (papers or posters) is midnight, March 15, 2019. Submitters will be notified of conference acceptance by March 30, 2019 and will need to complete conference registration by May 10, 2019.
We look forward to seeing you in Ann Arbor in June!
