The Black Graduate Conference in Psychology (BGCP) offers an opportunity for graduate students in all fields of psychology to present their ongoing research, gain professional development experiences, and network with other graduate students and faculty in a welcoming environment. Students can present completed projects or works in progress in order to benefit from other attendees’ feedback. Faculty from across the nation will participate in the conference and provide constructive and supportive feedback. The conference program includes paper and poster presentations by graduate students, workshops and panel discussions on a variety of career and professional development issues, and opportunities to meet and socialize with faculty and graduate students in psychology.

- February 14, 2026: Proposal Submissions Portal opens
- March 13, 2026 by 11:59 PM PDT: Proposal Submissions Portal Closes
- April 15, 2026: Accepted participants notified
- April 15, 2026: Accepted participants conference registration opens
- April 30, 2026: Accepted participants conference registration closes
- May 1, 2026: Non-presenters conference registration opens***
- May 15, 2026: Non-presenters conference registration closes
- **To keep BGCP an intimate and effective mentoring event, we must keep the number of total attendees low. Whether there is availability for non-presenting participants to register for BGCP depends on the number of abstracts submitted and accepted for the conference.
